In a message conveying his condolences, Ousmane Sonko honored the memory of the spiritual guide, reflecting on the many occasions they met during his visits to Guinguinéo.

“It is with immense emotion and great sadness that I received the news of the return to God of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, Khalife of the Khassim Mbacké family of Guinguinéo,” he stated.
