While LOSC aims to retain their promising talent, Ayyoub Bouaddi could still depart this summer if the right offer materializes. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) stands among the clubs keenly interested in the 18-year-old midfielder. Arsenal is also reportedly making significant moves in this pursuit, though the player himself appears to have a clear preference between the two European giants.

Having come through the ranks at LOSC and on the cusp of his first World Cup appearance with Morocco, Ayyoub Bouaddi is undoubtedly one to watch in the upcoming transfer window. Just over a week ago, during an appearance on RMC’s After Foot, Olivier Létang addressed the situation of his player, who recently extended his contract until June 2029. The Lille president expressed his desire to keep Bouaddi for the next season. When questioned about a potential approach from PSG, Létang stated, “We will discuss it with Ayyoub, to be completely honest, because that was also part of our conversations.”
arsenal’s bid for bouaddi, but psg remains his preference
A formidable competitor has emerged in this transfer saga for the capital club: Arsenal. According to reports from journalist Sacha Tavolieri for Sky Sport, the Gunners have been in communication with the player’s representatives since January 2025, identifying him as a priority target to bolster their midfield. A significant role within Mikel Arteta‘s squad has reportedly been promised to him, and Ayyoub Bouaddi was receptive to Arsenal‘s proposal, even if his preference still leans towards PSG.
“if an extraordinary amount arrives, we could consider his departure”
The London club’s management reportedly feels confident in their ability to rival PSG for Bouaddi’s signature, but they must first meet the demands set by LOSC. Olivier Létang had previously warned, “We have had very regular discussions with Ayyoub. Our aim is to keep him. However, if an extraordinary offer comes in, we could then consider his departure. Above 50M€? No, that is not sufficient. We are far from the amount that would allow us to let Ayyoub leave.”
