The Kenyan President, William Ruto, has praised the deepening relationship between Kenya and Chad, highlighting Chad’s leadership in international security and its pivotal role at the Africa Forward Summit.
Following a bilateral meeting at the State House in Nairobi, President Ruto emphasized the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations, built on shared values, mutual respect, and African solidarity. He underscored the commitment of both countries to advance common positions that serve the interests of African citizens, foster continental progress, and enhance global cooperation.
President Ruto also commended Chad for its involvement in the UN-backed Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti. He described the country’s participation as a vital contribution to global efforts aimed at restoring peace, stability, and hope in the Caribbean nation.

The Kenyan leader expressed gratitude to the Chadian President, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, for Chad’s instrumental role in ensuring the success of the Africa Forward Summit.
