In response to its proactive internal structuring strategy, Pastef, under the leadership of Ousmane Sonko, is initiating a comprehensive overhaul of its Party School. This significant undertaking, scheduled ahead of the 2026 congress, aims to significantly enhance the training and supervision of its members for improved operational effectiveness.
As part of its preparations for the inaugural congress slated for June 6, 2026, the Pastef political party has unveiled a significant restructuring of its Party School’s operational framework. According to official communications from the party, this strategic move is integral to a broader internal consolidation effort aimed at bolstering the oversight and coordination of its activist training initiatives.
A directive issued by the National Secretariat for Training, currently under the stewardship of Malick Sy, details that the newly designed organizational chart is engineered to address the growing imperatives of expanding membership, providing effective guidance, and professionalizing activist education. The restructuring employs a methodology described as functional, territorial, and thematic, conceived to optimize the synchronization of training activities both within the nation and across international branches.
