PSG transfer drama: Kolo Muani’s move hangs by a thread after Juventus legend’s warning

After a challenging season on loan at Tottenham, Randal Kolo Muani faces an uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain, where he has returned. The Juventus management has identified him as a potential reinforcement for their attack, yet the proposed transfer is sparking significant debate. Veteran striker Nicola Amoruso, a respected figure from the club’s past, has publicly voiced his reservations about the French international, advocating instead for the retention of Dusan Vlahovic.

The Old Lady is gearing up for an active transfer window, with a focus on bolstering their offensive ranks. Kolo Muani, despite his struggles in the Premier League, has emerged as the club’s top target. Meanwhile, Vlahovic, whose contract expires on June 30, could be let go to free up salary space. However, Amoruso dismisses this strategy, warning that prioritizing the French striker over the Serbian marks a potential misstep.

Amoruso throws his weight behind Vlahovic

In a candid interview, Nicola Amoruso made his stance clear: « If I had to pick one, I’d always choose Dusan ». He went on to explain why the 25-year-old striker remains the superior option: « Just because someone isn’t fully settled yet doesn’t mean they’re unwanted. Vlahovic is elite in his position. There aren’t many strikers available with his level and potential, which is why I believe extending his contract would be a smart move. He ended the season with a fantastic attitude and a burning desire to wear the Juventus jersey. Spalletti’s trust in him has been transformative—something every center-forward craves—and his performances, when fit, proved his worth. I truly hope an agreement can be reached.»

A call for champions to rebuild the Juventus legacy

Amoruso also addressed the broader transfer strategy, advising incoming sporting director Giovanni Carnevali on the club’s recruitment approach: « We need top-tier players, champions. It’s no easy task, especially after the Champions League exit tarnishing our reputation. Yet, we must rebuild by staying true to Juventus’ identity—a club built on legends and champions.»
