The Commissioner for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade, Industry, and Mines at the African Union (AU), Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, commended Morocco’s remarkable progress during an official visit to Rabat. The praise came as she met with Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Expatriates.
In her address to the media, Tatchouop Belobe emphasized Morocco’s leading role in Africa’s industrial landscape, particularly in automotive and aeronautics sectors. She noted that under the visionary guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Kingdom has achieved significant milestones, reinforcing its position as a key player in the continent’s economic transformation.
The AU Commissioner also highlighted Morocco’s commitment to sharing its expertise with African nations, fostering sustainable growth across the continent. A notable initiative she praised was the establishment of a value chain for critical minerals, positioning Morocco as a strategic hub for essential resources in Africa. This strategic development underscores the Kingdom’s role in securing supply chains and driving industrial innovation.
Expressing deep gratitude, Tatchouop Belobe acknowledged King Mohammed VI’s unwavering support for the AU’s initiatives, reaffirming Morocco’s pivotal role in advancing the continent’s economic agenda.
