Aurélien tchouaméni’s real madrid future: two key obstacles emerge

Could Aurélien Tchouaméni be on the verge of departing Real Madrid this summer? The 26-year-old midfielder, currently representing the French national team in the 2026 World Cup, has frequently been linked with a move away. However, two specific factors are presently hindering any potential transfer for the French international.

Having joined in the summer of 2022, Aurélien Tchouaméni’s tenure at Real Madrid might potentially conclude this summer. While he competes in the 2026 World Cup with the French national team, discussions about his departure have intensified in recent days. Manchester United, in particular, is reportedly monitoring the situation for the 26-year-old midfielder’s transfer. Nevertheless, two specific issues appear to be impeding a potential move for Aurélien Tchouaméni to the Red Devils.

Real Madrid reluctant to facilitate Tchouaméni’s exit

The challenges surrounding Tchouaméni’s situation remain consistent. Firstly, his substantial salary poses a hurdle, which currently does not align with Manchester United’s financial plans. While Manchester United holds a high regard for him as a phenomenal player, Real Madrid is presently unwilling to consider offers for Tchouaméni. There has been no communication from Real Madrid to Manchester United indicating that he is available for transfer. However, should such an opportunity arise, Manchester United would be prepared to pursue it. The primary obstacles, therefore, are his wage demands and Real Madrid’s current stance against selling.

Real Madrid’s focus remains on new acquisitions

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid will eventually become receptive to Aurélien Tchouaméni’s departure. The Madrid hierarchy is currently prioritizing strengthening the squad for José Mourinho. Following the arrivals of Marc Cucurella and Ibrahima Konaté, the Merengue are expected to continue their recruitment drive. Consequently, a transfer for Aurélien Tchouaméni does not appear to be a top priority for the Casa Blanca at this time.
