Bayern munich’s firm stance on michael olise cools real madrid’s hopes

After a trophy-less campaign, Real Madrid is determined to strengthen its squad this summer to avoid a repeat. Several names have been linked with the Spanish giants, including Michael Olise. However, Bayern Munich has delivered a fresh statement that could dampen the Whites’ aspirations.

Real Madrid has still not come to terms with its blank season. The club intends to prevent a similar scenario next year and plans to reinforce José Mourinho’s squad. Names have multiplied in recent weeks, including that of Michael Olise. The 24-year-old, currently playing in the 2026 World Cup with the French national team, has shone for Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have directly responded to the Merengues regarding a potential transfer of the French international.

“We are not a selling club”

“As I’ve already said, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had an offer in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we do not want to sell Michael Olise. Bayern Munich maintains excellent relations with Real Madrid, and therefore they contacted me to say, first, that they have absolutely no contact with Michael Olise, and second, that they do not want these constant media speculations. He is a Bayern Munich player and has a long-term contract. And we are not a selling club,” responded Herbert Hainer, president of Bayern Munich.

Another rejection for Real Madrid in the transfer market

Real Madrid now knows where it stands regarding Michael Olise. After Julian Alvarez, the La Liga side faces another refusal in the transfer market. It remains to be seen whether the Casa Blanca will persist for the 24-year-old winger or activate another option on the market. Stay tuned…
