Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, met on Wednesday in Rabat with the Deputy Minister to the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of Francophonie and Congolese Abroad of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Crispin Mbadu Phanzu. The envoy was bearing a message addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI from President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.
In a statement following the talks, Mr. Mbadu Phanzu commended the strong bilateral cooperation between Morocco and the DRC, two countries linked by a long shared history. He noted that his visit to the Kingdom focuses on advancing his nation’s candidacy for the Secretary General position of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
