Nantes to play behind closed doors after pitch invasion against Toulouse

Nantes will have to play a match behind closed doors.
Disciplinary panel hands down firm sanctions following last day pitch invasion against Toulouse
The FC Nantes has narrowly avoided point deductions to begin its Ligue 2 campaign. The LFP disciplinary committee has imposed a one-match closed-door penalty at the Stade de la Beaujoire, alongside a two-game closure of the Loire stand. The committee also confirmed the score as it stood when play was definitively halted against Toulouse on May 17 (0-0).
Chaos erupted late in the final game of the Ligue 1 season as Nantes supporters stormed the pitch to protest their team’s relegation to the second tier. The referee was forced to abandon the match at that point.
