Psg targets yan diomandé as kang-in lee replacement amidst squad overhaul

The summer transfer window is buzzing for Paris Saint-Germain! The capital club, having reportedly reached an agreement with AC Milan for the transfer of Gonçalo Ramos, is also set to part ways with Kang-In Lee. The South Korean midfielder appears bound for Atlético de Madrid, and to fill his void, sporting advisor Luis Campos and coach Luis Enrique have identified a primary target: 19-year-old Yan Diomandé.

Paris Saint-Germain is poised for significant activity during this summer’s transfer period. Initially, the Parisian management seems intent on streamlining the existing squad. An important agreement has emerged between Paris and AC Milan regarding the transfer of Gonçalo Ramos. In addition to the Portuguese forward, Kang-In Lee is also expected to depart the club soon. For several days, speculation has linked the South Korean international closely with Atlético de Madrid.

Luis Enrique and PSG pursue Yan Diomandé

While the latest insights suggest that Kang-In Lee’s potential move could bring approximately €35M to PSG, a concrete path is now actively being explored to secure a successor for the South Korean talent. My reporting indicates that the Parisian club is keen on acquiring Yan Diomandé to take over the role of the number 19. Also a target for Liverpool, the Ivorian international stands out as one of football’s most coveted young talents globally. Luis Campos is anticipated to advance this dossier promptly, especially given that Luis Enrique is a strong admirer of the profile offered by the promising player currently with RB Leipzig.

“My focus is on the World Cup”

Currently representing Côte d’Ivoire in the World Cup, Yan Diomandé recently addressed questions about his future beyond the tournament. He stated, “No, I don’t know (what choice I will make). I am not thinking about my future after the World Cup. I am trying to concentrate all my energy on the World Cup and see what happens next, but I cannot say anything about that.”
