Togo hosts national finale of OHADA’s 17th Geniuses in Training competition

The national finale of the 17th edition of the International Geniuses in Training OHADA Competition (CIGHO) unfolded on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Auditorium of the University of Lomé. This highly anticipated event followed preliminary rounds held simultaneously in Lomé and Kara on April 25, 2026, co-organized by the National Coordination of CIGHO Togo and the Togolese branch of the International Association of Law Students (AIEJ-TOGO).

The ceremony commenced with opening remarks from the Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Pirénam BLANDE, Former President of AIEJ-TOGO. This was followed by speeches from the National Coordinator, Mr. Messifa Komlan KONALI, a Magistrate, the representative of the Togolese Revenue Authority (OTR), Mr. Saturnin Sassou A. AGBLO-NOAMESSI, Division Head at OTR (a key partner for the finale), and the Project Manager of the 17th edition of CIGHO, Me Têko Seyram Godwin AMENYINU, a Doctor of Private Law and Attorney. These addresses paved the way for the written examinations.
