Togo University of Lomé: step-by-step guide to seamless online registration

Each year, the University of Lomé (UL), Togo’s largest higher education institution, welcomes thousands of new graduates and continuing students. For the upcoming academic year, the university has revamped its enrollment system, transitioning to a fully digital and streamlined process. Here’s how to complete your registration—or re-enrollment—with ease.

Essential requirements for enrollment at the University of Lomé

Before starting your online application, gather the following mandatory documents and credentials:

  • New undergraduate students (LMD 1): Must present a valid BAC 2 diploma or an equivalent qualification recognized by national authorities.
  • Re-enrolling students: Need their Matricule UL (student ID number) and proof of successful completion of the previous academic year or progression requirements.
  • Valid contact details: A functional email address and mobile phone number for account creation and receiving official notifications.
  • Secure payment options: Access to electronic payment methods such as Flooz (T-Money/Moov Money) or a bank card to cover registration and tuition fees.

A clear 5-step online enrollment process

All administrative procedures are now handled through the University of Lomé’s official digital portal daas.univ-lome.tg or the dedicated RESUP platform. Follow these steps to finalize your application:

Step 1: Account setup and pre-registration

Visit the Directorate of Academic Affairs and Scholarships (DAAS) website. Create your student profile by entering personal details, including your BAC results and preferred course of study (Faculty, School, or Institute).

Step 2: Upload supporting documents

Scan and upload all required documents in digital format (PDF or JPG): national ID, BAC 2 certificate, birth certificate, and a recent passport-sized photograph.

Step 3: Pay tuition and registration fees

Complete the payment using approved channels, including partner banks like Ecobank and BTCI/IB Bank, or through integrated mobile payment solutions.

Step 4: Receive administrative approval

Once payment is confirmed, the DAAS team reviews your application. Upon approval, you’ll generate and download your enrollment quittance directly from your personal dashboard.

Step 5: Complete medical clearance and collect student ID

Visit the University Medical Center (CMUL) for a mandatory health check. After clearance, collect your biometric student ID at the designated service point.

Keep these original documents ready for final submission

While the pre-enrollment process is fully digital, students must retain the original or certified copies of these documents for academic and examination purposes:

  • Certified copy of birth certificate.
  • Certified copy of Togolese nationality certificate (for nationals) or valid passport/residence permit (for international students).
  • Original or certified copy of BAC 2 diploma.
  • Academic transcripts from grades 10 through 12 (Seconde, Première, Terminale).
  • Printed enrollment confirmation from the UL portal.
  • Bank or mobile payment receipts.

Important: Adhere strictly to the deadlines published by DAAS. Late submissions are often penalized or rejected outright. To avoid last-minute server congestion, initiate your registration as soon as the enrollment window opens.
