Serie A showdown between Torino and Juventus postponed following supporter violence, one critically injured

The highly anticipated Turin derby, originally scheduled for 20:45 during the final Serie A matchday, was delayed until 21:45 due to safety concerns after violent clashes between rival supporters left one Juventus fan in critical condition.
The match, which could have secured Juventus a Champions League spot with a victory, never kicked off as planned. A Juventus supporter was rushed to hospital in grave condition following the altercations outside the stadium. Authorities later announced the game would resume at approximately 21:45.
Juventus president and CEO Damien Comolli revealed in an interview that Torino supporters in the stands urged midfielder Manuel Locatelli to refuse playing due to the injured fan’s condition. The Italian league had scheduled this match alongside others in Milan, Como and Rome, all competing for the final two Champions League qualification spots.
