That is at least what an amendment to the bill to reform professional sport proposes – a proposal being examined today by the National Assembly.

Currently, to watch a Ligue 1 match you need a subscription to the Ligue1+ platform, starting at 15 euros per month. The platform has about 1 million subscribers.

So naturally, this idea excites football fans.
