The Algerian delegation from Sonelgaz International, currently in Chad for a technical mission focused on building a new power plant, is concluding its visit. To celebrate the successful completion of their stay, the Chadian Minister of Water and Energy hosted an official dinner in their honor at a local hotel.
The evening was filled with cultural performances, shared meals, and a ceremonial cake-cutting, highlighting the deep-rooted ties between Chad and Algeria. Over three days of intensive discussions, site inspections, and field visits, the Sonelgaz team expressed strong commitment to supporting Chad in boosting its energy production and expanding electricity access for citizens.
Chadian officials emphasized that the upcoming 50 MW power plant project is a powerful gesture of solidarity, reinforcing the strong and cooperative relationship between Chad and Algeria.
