The Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Masséna Ngallè Bibéhè, met on 30 June 2026 with the heads of the National Printing Office and Impact Palmarès R&D to review technological approaches aimed at bolstering the security of administrative documents and transport titles.
The Ministry of Transport continues its deliberations on upgrading and safeguarding official paperwork. To this end, Minister Jean Ernest Masséna Ngallè Bibéhè granted an audience to the Director General of the National Printing Office, Oyono Bika Pierre, and to the Managing Director of Impact Palmarès R&D, Léonie Kwekam.
During the meeting, Impact Palmarès R&D presented a technical solution based on several innovative technologies designed to strengthen the protection of official documents against counterfeiting. The proposed system would make documents more difficult to reproduce while simplifying their authentication.
Discussions also covered the security of transport titles issued by the ministry, secure marking of letterhead paper, and possibilities for improving the traceability of administrative documents while optimising non-tax revenues.
While welcoming the value of the solutions presented, the Minister of Transport emphasised the need to deepen technical, legal, administrative and financial analyses before any implementation. The reform aims to enhance the reliability and security of official documents.
