Coventry City have announced that Frank Onyeka has signed a permanent contract with the club, making his loan move from Brentford a full transfer.
The Nigerian midfielder initially joined the Sky Blues on loan in January, and the deal became permanent after the summer transfer window opened. Onyeka was instrumental in helping Frank Lampard’s side win the Sky Bet Championship title, making 14 appearances and scoring a spectacular goal against Derby County in April. The 28-year-old brings a wealth of Premier League experience, having played 75 top-flight matches during his time at Brentford. The length of his contract has not been disclosed.
