Mankono’s rhdp launches 2026 political season with focus on grassroots and development

Mankono witnessed a significant political event as the Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes pour la démocratie et la paix (RHDP) departmental secretariat for Mankono commune and sub-prefecture officially inaugurated its 2026 political season. Held over July 17 and 18, 2026, the strategic gathering centered on a comprehensive review of the 2025 elections, intensive training for party activists, and a concerted effort to revitalize its foundational structures.

Cissé Namory, the RHDP Departmental Secretary, whose political oversight encompasses both the Mankono commune and sub-prefecture, firmly reiterated the commitment of Béré region militants. Their dedication, he affirmed, is geared towards strengthening the presidential party’s influence and reach across Côte d’Ivoire.

While celebrating the RHDP’s commendable success in the recent legislative elections within his political department, where Deputy Salimata Fofana épouse Méité secured a victory, Mr. Namory also addressed internal challenges. He expressed regret over instances of indiscipline among certain party members, suggesting that such behaviors occasionally found support from within the party’s executive ranks.

“We bear a responsibility of sincerity towards our militants to safeguard the cohesion and effectiveness of our political endeavors,” he declared, issuing a clear call for enhanced discipline and unwavering unity within the RHDP.

The political launch was structured around two pivotal segments. The inaugural day featured a thought-provoking seminar under the theme: “Learning from the last electoral process and charting the course for the new militant cycle.”

During this crucial session, Professor Soro David, the Deputy National Secretary in charge of the RHDP’s political structures, led an insightful conference. His presentation, titled “The National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030: Its Contribution to the Béré Region’s Growth,” captivated the audience.

Professor Soro meticulously outlined the tangible achievements realized in the Béré region under the previous PND 2021-2025, subsequently detailing the promising prospects offered by the new PND 2026-2030. “The Béré region has significantly benefited from the PND 2021-2025 and stands to gain even more with the PND 2026-2030,” he asserted, highlighting numerous anticipated projects spanning vital sectors such as education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure.

He also commended the unwavering commitment of regional executives and citizens who stand alongside President Alassane Ouattara. Their active involvement, Professor Soro emphasized, represents a crucial catalyst for the continued development of Béré and the reinforcement of governmental initiatives throughout this essential part of the country, contributing positively to African politics.
