Mohammed VI’s Throne Speech Reflects Royal Strategy to Enhance Morocco’s Global Competitiveness

King Mohammed VI’s address on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of his accession to the throne reflects the royal strategy to strengthen Morocco’s position in a highly competitive global economy, according to Mohamed Daâdaoui, a Maroco-American political scientist and university professor.

The speech highlights the evolution of a long-term vision that has guided Morocco’s development over the past few years, said Dr. Daâdaoui, who heads the department of politics, history, and philosophy at the University of Oklahoma City.

More than just a review of achievements, the speech illustrates this Moroccan model of development based on long-term planning, efficient implementation, and sustained investment, while consolidating a broader approach to governance that has contributed to Morocco’s stability and security.
