Morocco is advancing its efforts to secure the necessary financial backing for the Africa Atlantic Gas Pipeline (AAGP), a strategic initiative developed in collaboration with Nigeria. The North African kingdom is actively pursuing a $26 billion funding package through partnerships with the United States Export-Import Bank (US Exim Bank) and the World Bank, as confirmed by Youssef Amrani, Morocco’s Ambassador to the United States.
