During a public session at the African Union’s Peace and Security Council (AUPSC), Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the AU and UNECA, Mohamed Arrouchi, underscored the Kingdom’s commitment to humanitarian action as a cornerstone of its foreign policy and African cooperation. This strategic alignment reflects the forward-thinking vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who has long championed Africa’s most vulnerable populations.
As Champion of the AU on migration, Morocco has made humanitarian intervention a priority in its diplomatic engagements across the continent. Ambassador Arrouchi emphasized the country’s unwavering dedication to mitigating humanitarian crises, regardless of their location in Africa, by mobilizing resources and fostering collaborative solutions to support refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and affected communities.
