Chad strengthens diplomatic security with 12 new attachés abroad
A new Decree N°1016/PR/PM/MAEIATE/2026, signed on May 22, 2026, formalizes the appointment of twelve security attachés to Chad’s diplomatic missions across key international locations. Each appointee will serve as a vital link between Chad and host countries, ensuring the protection of personnel and national interests abroad.
The assignments span Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia, covering these strategic diplomatic posts:

- Geneva, Switzerland – Security Attaché: BOKHIT ZAKARIA CHAMOU
- New York, United States – Security Attaché: MAHAMAT SEID BOULAKORO MANGUE
- Ottawa, Canada – Security Attaché: ADAM KALLY NASSOUR
- Pretoria, South Africa – Security Attaché: HINIMBI CLEMENT ZAMNA
- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Security Attaché: OUSMAN ALLATCHI BARKAI
- Malabo, Equatorial Guinea – Security Attaché: SABIR ZAKARIA MAHAMAT
