Trade minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana has announced a special promotional sale operation in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The large-scale sale, organised by the ministry of trade, will run for several weeks at the Boulevard du 20 Mai.
From 22 June to 30 September 2026, the site will host a wide selection of essential consumer goods at reduced prices.
“This event, carried out in partnership with responsible companies, is fully aligned with the government’s policy to combat the high cost of living,” the ministry stated. “It aims to support households’ purchasing power during the summer holidays and, at the same time, help parents prepare for the 2026–2027 school year by offering school supplies at affordable prices.”
Minister Mbarga Atangana added: “Beyond Yaoundé and its surroundings, as well as major cities, this operation is intended to expand across the entire national territory, notably through travelling promotional caravans.”
