During his visit to Rabat on Tuesday, June 23, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See, was inducted as an honorary member of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco. He underscored the notable alignment of perspectives between the Holy See and this significant African nation. Cardinal Parolin urged against approaching fraternity with a “purely utilitarian outlook,” advocating for a transition from mere “tolerance” towards one’s neighbor, with whom rights are shared, to a genuine and embracing welcome.
