Chad’s PM praises Algeria’s leadership in continental cooperation

The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure of Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, received a warm welcome in N’Djamena on Thursday from the Prime Minister and Head of Government of Chad, Mr. Allamaye Halina. During the meeting, the Chadian Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the efforts of Algeria’s President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in strengthening bilateral ties and his influential role on the African continent.

The Chadian delegation underscored the deep respect Chad holds for Algeria’s commitment to African development and regional solidarity. Mr. Halina highlighted the historic bonds and strong fraternal ties between the two nations, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation.

As part of the discussions, Mr. Halina conveyed cordial greetings from Chad’s President, Mr. Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to Algeria’s President, Mr. Tebboune. He also extended his warm regards to Algeria’s Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s dedication to deepening bilateral collaboration and expanding partnerships with Algeria.

The Algerian delegation, which included key officials such as the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad, and senior representatives from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, joined Mr. Djellaoui for the two-day working visit in Chad. The delegation also comprised the CEOs of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Company (Entp).
