Laborex Tchad marks three decades of pharmaceutical excellence in the country

Laborex Tchad, a subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, recently commemorated three decades of shaping the nation’s pharmaceutical landscape. The milestone celebration, held in N’Djamena, highlighted the company’s pivotal role in ensuring reliable access to essential medicines and medical supplies across Chad’s healthcare system.

Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has consistently supported the country’s health infrastructure by delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers nationwide. From N’Djamena to Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, and beyond, the company’s presence has become synonymous with dependable healthcare solutions.

The event featured speeches from key figures, including the Chair of the Board, Ms. Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and Mr. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director of CFAO Healthcare. In her address, Ms. Ngarmbatina expressed deep appreciation to Chadian authorities for their unwavering support in nurturing Laborex Tchad’s growth. She also acknowledged the trust placed in the company by financial partners, pharmacists, distributors, and healthcare facilities.

« Choosing Laborex Tchad isn’t about routine—it’s about trust. Professionalism defines our mission: delivering the right treatment to the right place at the right time, for every patient across Chad, » she emphasized with conviction.

Her remarks carried a reflective tone as she added, « Three decades is no small feat. But we’re just getting started—another seven decades, at the very least, lie ahead. »

Mr. Roux, reflecting on his 24-year journey with CFAO Healthcare, praised Laborex Tchad’s enduring spirit and transformative impact. He honored former leaders, including Ms. Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the current leadership under the General Director, Ms. Tignocqua, for sustaining a youthful and dynamic organizational culture.

« Laborex is a company with deep roots yet remains vibrant, thanks to its dedicated team, » he noted.

He also extended gratitude to the Ministry of Public Health, laboratory partners, financial institutions, and staff for their collaborative efforts. « It is through your collective dedication that we maintain a seamless and trustworthy supply chain of pharmaceuticals across Chad, » he stated.

The celebration concluded on a joyful note, resonating with the lively beats of the balafon, a traditional instrument that added cultural richness to the festivities.
