The operation resulted in the recovery of an arsenal of weapons, substantial quantities of cannabis, and crates of adulterated alcohol. These prohibited items, which pose a direct threat to public health and safety, were intercepted during recent patrols conducted across the rugged terrain of the Tibesti region.

Major General Alifa Weddeye took the opportunity to commend the bravery and dedication of the defense and security forces. He emphasized that their tireless efforts are essential for maintaining the peace and protecting the civilian population from the dangers of illicit trafficking. While celebrating this success, the General also issued a call for continued alertness among the ranks to prevent future incursions.

Local residents have expressed a strong sense of relief and approval regarding these security breakthroughs. The successful removal of these dangerous goods from the streets is seen as a vital step in the broader strategy to combat insecurity and ensure a tranquil environment for all citizens in the province.
