In a vibrant display of diplomatic ties, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Niger, in partnership with Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, launched a special ceremony commemorating the 27th anniversary of the Throne Day. This significant event was dedicated to reviewing the Kingdom’s most notable achievements under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.
Morocco’s transformation highlighted during Niamey celebrations
The Ambassador, Mohammed Iboumraten, emphasized the profound changes Morocco has undergone in recent decades. «The country has redefined its infrastructure, industrial base, geopolitical positioning, and social protection systems. Key sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy have reshaped the nation’s economic landscape», he stated.
The ceremony also underscored the strengthening of Morocco and Niger’s long-standing friendship and cooperation. These bonds, built on shared history and mutual interests, continue to deepen across multiple fields.

During the event, the Ambassador highlighted the depth of the bilateral relationship. «Our cooperation is rooted in historical ties, solidarity, and a shared commitment to enhancing relations in politics, economy, security, culture, and spirituality. His Majesty the King’s dedication to Niger is evident through two royal visits and a consistent effort to foster balanced, mutually beneficial partnerships», he noted.
