Olympique Lyonnais secures permanent transfer for PSG talent Noham Kamara
Olympique Lyonnais has officially completed the permanent acquisition of Noham Kamara, who initially joined the club on a loan deal during the winter transfer window. The purchase option has now been activated, making the talented defender a full-fledged Lyonnais player until 2030.
Kamara, a 19-year-old French U20 international standing at 1.85 meters, arrived from Paris Saint-Germain in the final hours of the recent winter transfer period on a temporary basis with an embedded purchase clause. Olympique Lyonnais has now finalized his long-term commitment, securing his services through to 2030. The Rhône-based club has invested 4.1 million euros for the move, with an additional 2 million euros potentially payable in performance-related bonuses. Furthermore, PSG will retain a 20% interest in any future capital gain should Kamara be resold.
The versatile defender, who honed his skills in the Parisian region before advancing through the Paris Saint-Germain academy, possesses the ability to play both centrally and as a right-back. Since his arrival at Olympique Lyonnais, Kamara has already featured twice in Ligue 1 championship matches, showcasing his potential on the senior stage.
