The Senate of Cameroun is fully ready to open its ordinary session of June 2026, scheduled for tomorrow, 9 June 2026.
Demonstrating administrative thoroughness, the Secretary General of the Senate, Mr. Gustave Léopold Ngane, together with the Deputy Secretary General and other senior officials, carried out a comprehensive inspection of Senate facilities at the Economic and Social Council this morning, 8 June 2026.
This final assessment aimed to verify the readiness of all critical infrastructure needed for smooth parliamentary proceedings. The delegation carefully examined conference rooms, the VIP reception lounge, banquet halls, and the main chamber that will host senators throughout the session.
Following the inspection, the Secretary General expressed full confidence in the operational readiness of all installations. He confirmed that all logistical and technical preparations have been completed ahead of the session opening.
In line with parliamentary tradition, the June ordinary session will focus primarily on budget orientation debates, strategic discussions between the Upper House and the Court of Accounts of the Supreme Court, as well as the thorough review and adoption of legislative bills.
