During the meeting, Ghrieb conveyed the warm greetings of Algeria’s President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and reaffirmed Algeria’s commitment to deepening fraternal ties, solidarity, and cooperation between the two neighboring nations.

The discussions centered on reviewing the progress of bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, including evaluating the outcomes of President Tiani’s February visit to Algeria and the agreements reached during the second session of the Algerian-Nigerien High Joint Commission held in Niamey last March. Emphasis was placed on accelerating the implementation of previously agreed projects to foster economic growth and regional integration.

Landmark power plant project completed ahead of schedule

President Tiani expressed his appreciation for President Tebboune’s dedication to strengthening bilateral ties, highlighting the rapid realization of a new power plant project as a testament to the depth of their cooperation. This achievement underscores the shared determination of both leaders to build a robust and diversified partnership that aligns with the mutual interests and developmental aspirations of their peoples.
