The Kingdom of Morocco took center stage at the Consular Evening in Düsseldorf on June 2, 2026, marking a pivotal moment in its bilateral ties with Germany. Guiding the event was Consul General Boutaina Bouabid, alongside Secretary General Ismail Lamghari of the Ministry of Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRE). Together, they underscored the depth of the strategic partnership between Rabat and Berlin, while also acknowledging the vital role of the Moroccan diaspora in bridging cultural and economic ties between the two nations.
With the support of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), the evening showcased Morocco’s rich heritage and growing appeal. Highlights included screenings of the country’s latest achievements, a vibrant traditional caftan fashion display, and a captivating live performance of Gnawa music.
This landmark event reaffirmed the shared commitment of both nations to deepen their diplomatic, economic, and cultural collaboration for years to come.
