Bénin: election officials train in India on AI-powered voting systems

A delegation of high-ranking officials from Bénin‘s Autonomous National Electoral Commission (CENA) is currently undergoing intensive training in New Delhi, India, focused on integrating artificial intelligence into election processes.

From July 6 to 10, 2026, these CENA officials are participating in a specialized program organized by the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) framework.
