The President of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, has returned to N’Djamena after an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
Key meetings during the UAE visit
During his stay in Abu Dhabi, President Déby held two high-level meetings with UAE leader Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second occurred at the Chadian leader’s residence.
Warm welcome upon arrival
Upon landing in N’Djamena, the Chadian head of state was greeted by a high-powered delegation including Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, government ministers, and key presidential staff members. The mayor of N’Djamena was also present to welcome him back.
