In a statement issued on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, officials in Libreville expressed deep regret over the renewed outbreak of hostilities between the various parties in the region.

Confronted by the resurgence of armed conflict, the Gabonese government unequivocally condemned this surge in violence. Libreville views this armed confrontation as a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes civilian lives and undermines all efforts towards achieving lasting peace.
