Canal+, M6 and L’Équipe unveil their broadcasting plans for Saturday’s highly anticipated Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.

Canal+ holds exclusive rights to the entire Champions League season and will showcase its broadcasting expertise to the fullest during Saturday’s final. Coverage begins at 9:00 AM on Canal+ Foot with live updates, special reports from Budapest, and a dedicated edition of La Clinique des sports presented by Lyes Houhou. The show will analyze Paris Saint-Germain’s physical and mental preparation, featuring health professionals and former defender Alain Roche as a guest.

From 1:00 PM, Canal+ will launch Canal Bus, a mobile studio traversing the streets of Budapest, hosted by Jules Deremble. The Canal Champions Club team—including Hervé Mathoux, Laure Boulleau, David Ginola, Robert Pirès, Christophe Jallet, Bertrand Latour and Gauthier Kuntzmann—will be on location, broadcasting live from the streets before heading to the Puskás Arena. The show will take over the airwaves from the pitchside at 4:00 PM.

At 6:00 PM, the match will be commentated by Paul Tchoukriel and Sidney Govou, with Margot Dumont and Dominique Armand handling sideline reporting and interviews. Following the final whistle, the Canal Champions Club will resume broadcasting from the pitchside. Canal+ Foot will then air a prime-time special, Late Finale Club, featuring Nicolas Tourriol alongside Samir Nasri, Aline Riera, Mickaël Landreau and Tony Chapron.

M6’s free-to-air coverage

M6, which holds free-to-air rights to the final, will deploy part of its 2026 FIFA World Cup team to Budapest. Commentary will be provided by Xavier Domergue and Benoît Cheyrou, with Samuel Umtiti joining as a commentator and Virginie Sainsily on the sidelines. Presenters Ophélie Meunier and Smaïl Bouabdellah will be joined by Ludovic Giuly, Johan Djourou and a special guest appearance by Luis Fernandez, despite his role as a consultant for beIN Sports, the pay-TV rights holder for all 104 World Cup matches.

L’Équipe’s dedicated programming

Though L’Équipe does not hold broadcasting rights for the final, the channel will dedicate its entire afternoon and evening schedule to the event. Coverage begins at 4:45 PM with L’Équipe de Greg, hosted by Grégory Ascher, followed by L’Équipe de la mi-temps with Olivier Ménard from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM. The evening concludes with L’Équipe du Soir at 7:55 PM and L’Équipe du Soir la prolong from 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Analysts on hand include Johan Micoud, Jérôme Alonzo, Ludovic Obraniak, Raymond Domenech and Béatrice Kaboré.
