Paris Saint-Germain and Paris FC’s 2026-2027 ligue 1 opening fixtures revealed

The highly anticipated Ligue 1 2026-2027 season calendar has been unveiled, outlining key dates for Paris Saint-Germain and Paris FC. PSG will kick off their campaign at home at the Parc des Princes, while Paris FC begins on the road. Fans can also mark their calendars for the season’s crucial encounters against Olympique de Marseille.

Paris Saint-Germain supporters now have a clear vision for the upcoming 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season. With the official calendar now public, the capital club’s faithful can eagerly anticipate the key fixtures and significant moments of the campaign ahead.

The reigning champions, PSG, are set to commence their title defense at home, welcoming Rennes to the Parc des Princes during the weekend of August 21-23. This promises to be a challenging start, foreshadowing a demanding opening phase for Luis Enrique’s squad. Following their opener, they will travel to Lille for the second matchday, then return home to host Monaco in their third fixture.

First Clasico set for 5th matchday

PSG will need to quickly find their rhythm, as the intensity will remain high leading up to the first international break in mid-September. Before players depart for national team duty, Ousmane Dembélé and his teammates will face Olympique de Marseille in the season’s inaugural Clasico. This highly anticipated clash is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, at the iconic Vélodrome. The return leg, held at the Parc des Princes, is slated for Sunday, February 7, 2027.

Meanwhile, Paris FC, the capital’s other prominent club, appears to have a more favorable start to their season. Antoine Kombouaré’s squad will travel to face newly-promoted Troyes on the opening matchday of Ligue 1. Their subsequent home fixture will see them host OGC Nice at Stade Jean-Bouin, before ramping up with an away trip to Marseille and then two significant home encounters against Olympique Lyonnais and Strasbourg.
