As the newly appointed President of the ARTF, Ludovic Megne Ndong brings extensive experience, previously serving as Minister of Housing. His mandate centers on implementing the authority’s newly defined strategic directions and enforcing the provisions of the reorganisation ordinance governing the ARTF’s operations.

His leadership vision includes fostering closer collaboration with social partners and internal teams to enhance institutional efficiency and improve working conditions. Key priorities outlined include redeploying oversight teams and resuming inspection activities along the Transgabonais railway corridor, stretching from Owendo to Franceville.

The inauguration event was attended by François Ndong Obiang, Minister of Reform and Institutional Relations, alongside Adrien Moukabi, Executive Secretary of the ARTF. This leadership transition coincides with a period of significant reforms within Gabon’s railway transport sector.
