Chad president concludes UAE visit with high-level talks
The President of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, returned to N’Djamena late yesterday evening following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During his stay, the Head of State engaged in two significant meetings with the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was held at the Marshal’s residence.
Upon his arrival in N’Djamena, President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno was greeted by Prime Minister Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government officials, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Personal Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
